Do you have dark under-eye circles? You can easily diminish the look of dark circles by altering the way you put on your makeup. Here's how with four simple steps.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Concealer
  • Eyeshadow
  • Shear foundation
  • Facial lotion
  1. Step 1

Lotion your face with a small dime-sized amount and let the lotion sink into the skin for a few minutes. This step will help the makeup glide on smoothly, which will keep any lines or wrinkles from being magnified.

  2. Step 2

Put a dot of concealer onto the tip of your middle finger and dab it over the dark circles under your eyes. Gently rub the concealer across the skin in an outward motion.

  3. Step 3

Apply the foundation the way you normally would. Make sure that this layer is thin and blends in with the concealer. You don't want a cake of makeup over your dark circles.

  4. Step 4

Choose an eye shadow that lessens the look of the purple or blue under your eyes. This means staying away from any purple or blue shades. These shades will give you that "raccoon" look. Choose a brown, taupe or gold for the best look.
