How to Convert AAC+ to MP3 Files

AAC+ is a high-efficiency form of the Advanced Audio Coding compression scheme for digital audio. Since AAC+ files are digitally encoded, they can be converted into alternate formats such as MP3. MPEG Streamclip and iWisoft Free Video Converter are two examples of freeware that users can download and install to execute this task. Online Converter is an Internet service (free to use for input files under 100 MB) that makes it possible for users to forgo software installation altogether and perform the file conversion entirely through an Internet browser.

    • 1

Launch MPEG Streamclip. Go to "File" on the program menu and select "Open Files." Browse for the AAC+ input audio in the file selection window. Select the item and click the "Open" button to import it into the application.
