How to Download Free MP3 Music Programs
In the last five years, MP3 formatted music has become the preferred format of choice for consumer use. CD's will never truly be dead, but the majority of the American public is looking to online sources to buy or download their music. There are a number of freely available MP3 music programs from the Internet. Good online downloads of MP3 music programs permit the user to import existing music libraries while also providing a means to buy new music at reduced rates for home and personal use.

Choose a freely available MP3 music program to download for use. Three of the more popular options on the Internet today are: Apple's Itunes, Napster Online and eMusic. For this example, ITunes will be used.

Open a web browser and navigate to http://www.apple.com/itunes/overview/.

Select the "Download Itunes for Mac and Windows" icon.

Enter your email address in the "Enter Email Address Here" field on the web page and select "Download ITunes Now" menu button.

Select the "Save File" when prompted by iTunesSetup.exe file.

Run the Itunes setup application by selecting the "Run Now" icon when the download completes.

Add MP3 and other formatted music files to the ITunes libray by selecting the "File" menu and "Add File to Library" menu option.
