Step 1
The Search BarOpen your web browser and navigate your mouse pointer to the white Google search box in the upper-left corner. Click on the blue icon with the downward arrow to bring up the Search History menu.

The Clear History LinkClick on the blue Clear History text link at the bottom of the menu.

The Options Menu IconMove your point over to the far-right side of the Google toolbar, then click on the square box that has a picture of a wrench to bring up the options menu.

Unchecking The BoxClick on the white box with a check mark that says "Save My Search History." Click on the Save button on the bottom-right side to prevent any further search terms from being saved and displayed.

Open the Firefox browser and click on the Tools button on the top menu bar.

Clear Private Data MenuChoose the option that says "Clear Private Data." Make sure that all of the boxes are checked on the menu that will pop up and then click on "Clear Private Data Now."

Close and re-open Firefox to fully delete the Google search history.

Open the Internet Explorer browser and click the Tools button on the far-right side of the menu bar. Click the Delete Browsing History button in the menu that will pop up.

Browsing History MenuClick the Delete All button at the bottom of the menu.

Step 3
Close and re-open Internet Explorer to finish deleting the Google search history.
