Microsoft introduced Aero Peek in Windows 7, replacing the standard Show Desktop function found in previous versions of Windows. Instructions

      Right-click the Taskbar and choose "Properties" from the context menu. A new window opens.

      Click the "Taskbar" tab.

      Click to un-check "Use Aero Peek to preview the desktop" in the Preview Desktop With Aero Peek section.

      Click "OK" to save your changes. Aero Peek should now be disabled. If Aero Peek is still enabled, you may need to restart your computer to allow the changes to take affect.
