on 8/6/2006 Look around you every minute or two to make sure that no one is following you. If you hear a car even if it's behind or ahead, keep your eyes on it. There are some crazy people out there, you never know when one of these drivers may decide to run you over.

on 12/20/2005 If you are a beginner and/or overweight, please refrain from wearing spandex shorts (especially men). Women, men don't want to see your private areas defined, as we are trying to get in a good run.
Also, never spray someone with your water bottle!

on 11/22/2005 Remember, it's like a car - pass on the left, and when coming against traffic, stay to your right. Add a "Good Morning" and you're good to go.

on 11/22/2005 -If you must wear headphones while jogging, wear them positioned over your temples rather than your ears so that you can hear both the music and anyone approaching you.
-Women joggers are attacked more often in the morning than at night. It is equally deserted but they are less aware. Be careful and don't make assumptions.
-Jogging partners (canine or human) will encourage you to make improvements with your jogging AND keep you safe.
