Believe it or not, sometimes eating at a fast food restaurant is the safest choice when you are traveling with an egg allergy person. Many restaurants have no idea what they are serving their guests since it actually comes to them frozen from different vendors. This is not the case with your typical fast food restaurant. Invest some time in printing these ahead of time for your convenience on the road!

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

McDonalds Restaurant. McDonalds has a great allergy menu on their website. See my resources below for their egg allergy menu. You may actually be happily surprised to find that many of their food items to do not contain eggs. Be sure to print out their menu and carry it with you in your bag. You can find a McDonalds just about anywhere these days!

  2. Step 2

Burger King. Burger King has only a few foods on the menu that is egg allergy safe. Please see my resources below for the link to their food allergy menu. Be sure to take this menu with you when traveling. The restaurant may not have an allergy menu on the premise.

  3. Step 3

Taco Bell. Taco Bell is probably one of the BEST fast food places you can go for an egg allergy. Typically American-Mexican food does not contain eggs so its not a big surprise that Taco Bell is mostly egg free. To get their free allergy menu, be sure to click on the resources below for their menu!

  4. Step 4

Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut is not nearly as safe as you would think it should be. Your traditional pizza and tomato sauce does not contain eggs. However, at Pizza Hut, they make some of their pizza dough and sauces with eggs. Be seriously aware of cross contamination in this restaurant! Find their allergy menu in the resources below.

  5. Step 5

Finding a menu for Sonic Burger and White Castle on line is impossible. For these restaurants you will have to ask for a menu when you get there. I just avoid restaurants that make it difficult for people with allergies. After all, it costs them nothing to post the ingredients on their websites and I give lots of credit and thanks to the restaurants that make their food safe for everyone!

  6. Step 6

Allergic persons should carry your emergency allergy medicine since there is always a danger of severe allergic reaction due to cross contamination at any restaurant. It may save your life.

  7. Step 7
