Set the Rules
-
1
Define the rule of King's Cup for each card in the deck. For example: Nines mean Rhymes. The easiest way to do this is to grab a piece of paper and have one player write out all the rules. This way you will have a reference guide for all players when they select a card and there will be no arguments over what all the cards stand for.

2
Write down these rules for numbered cards on the piece of paper. They are as follows: Twos is for You--The player who draws the card picks another player to take a sip of their alcohol. Threes is for Me--The player who draws the card drinks. Fours is for Whores--All girls playing drink. Fives is Jive--The player who draws the card must begin a dance routine, by doing one simple dance mover. The game then goes in clockwise order, as the player next to the player who drew the card repeats the first dance move and then creates a second dance move. The process continues until one player misses a dance move or does it out of order. Sixes is Dicks--All guys playing drink. Sevens is Thumbs--Last player to place their thumb down on the table drinks. Eights is Never Have I Ever--All the players hold up three fingers. The player who drew the card will begin by saying "Never Have I Ever..." done something. All the players who have did it, must drop one of their fingers. Once a player is eliminated he or she must drink. The goal is to be the last man or woman standing and consequently not have to drink. Nines is Bust a Rhyme--The player who draws the card says one word. The player sitting clockwise from the person who drew the card has to say a word that rhymes with the first word. The process continues until someone cannot come up with a rhyme. Tens is Snake Eyes--The player who draws this card has overwhelming power. Whenever any other participant makes eye contact with the "Snake Eye," they must drink. Once another ten is drawn, the player who had the previous ten is no longer "Snake Eye," handing that power to the new player.

Write down the rules for face cards and aces. They are as follows: Jacks is Categories--The player who draws this card picks a category. The person sitting clockwise has to say something that fits into that category (for example, "football teams," "Denver Broncos"). The process continues until one player says something that doesn't fit into the category, says something that has already been said, or cannot think of a word. Queens is Question--The player who draws the card begins by asking a question to the player sitting clockwise from him or her. The next player must without hesitation ask a new question to the player sitting clockwise from him or her. The process continues until somebody asks a question that has already been asked or responds to the question. Kings is Kings Cup--When a king is drawn, the player must add an amount of his liquor or alcohol to the "King's Cup" sitting in the middle of the table. The last person to draw a king (the fourth one in the pile) must drink the "King's Cup." Aces is Waterfall--The player who draws an ace begins the "waterfall." All players must raise their beers up. The player who drew the card begins the "waterfall," tipping the beer back into his or her mouth. The player sitting clockwise from the player who drew his car tips his or her beer back. The process continues. The first player can stop drinking at any time. Once he or she does, then the second player has the power to stop drinking at will. The process continues until the last person in order has stopped drinking.

Get the alcohol. For this game, beer works the best. Make sure everybody is stocked with one beer and there is at least one more for each player. Generally a player will drink one to three beers per game. Be sure to assign a designated driver if you plan to leave later that night.
