This is a fun recipe to do with the kids. By using fruit and fat free yogurt it makes for a healthy desert and a way to kid more fruit and dairy into your diet.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pre made pie dough
  • 4 inch round cutter
  • Muffin tins
  • Seasonal fruit
  • Fat free vanilla yogurt
  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lay dough out flat and cut out 5 rounds from dough. I do not recommend reusing the extra dough. Then use a fork to poke holes in the rounds.

  2. Step 2

Put the rounds in un-greased muffin tins. You will need to make pleats in the dough and pull it up around the edge so the sides do not fall into the tin.

  3. Step 3

Bake for 9-13 minutes until the crust is brown. Let cool completely.

  4. Step 4

Then fill them ¾ the way with the fat free yogurt. Then add your fruit and decorate. I like to use strawberry, blueberry, peaches, kiwis, oranges, or whatever is on sale and in season. This is were you get to be creative.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use fruit that is in season it is less expensive and is sweeter.
  • You can use frozen yogurt or a flavor of yogart that you like.
  • you can also substite pudding.
