1
Form a partnership with someone else wanting to lose weight. She can be a great source of support, being intimate with the type of struggle you are facing. She can also help talk you through cravings, if necessary.
-
2
Start each day with a glass of water. The hydration makes your body feel better and makes you feel fuller, encouraging you to eat less breakfast. Schedule specific times each day to drink a glass of water. This will help cut down on the feeling of being hungry.

Exercise for at least a half an hour each day, or for however long you are capable. The more intense the workout, the better you will feel at the end, as well as the more weight you will lose. Jogging, aerobics and sports are all great forms of exercise. It is best if the activity is also enjoyable, such as riding a bicycle or playing basketball. You will feel hungry afterward, so be sure to drink plenty of water after the activity.

4
Change your eating habits. Remove as much sugar, fats and oils from your diet as possible. Eat smaller portions. Eating more slowly can also let you feel fuller after eating less food. If you must retain some sugar in your diet, keep it simple, such as a half a teaspoon of honey in your tea. Avoid soft drinks and junk food entirely.
-
5
Find a distraction for the times in the day when you feel like eating excessively or consuming unhealthy foods. It is best if the activity gets you out of the house or away from the temptation. For example, if you feel like nibbling on the cookies in the pantry, go outside and weed your garden. If you must eat, use vegetables and fruits as snacks.
-
6
Weigh yourself on a regular basis, such as every three days. Consider keeping a weight loss journal to record your progress. Getting to see the tangible results and making yourself accountable in writing can be great tools in the fight to shed pounds.
