How to Crochet a Fuzzy Fun Fur Scarf
Long fuzzy scarves are popular and they are fun to wear. Here are the instructions to make your own. They are simple to do if you know basic crochet stitches.
- Difficulty:
- Moderately Easy
Instructions
Things You'll Need
- 8" size Q crochet hook
- 3 skeins of fun fur yarn
- knowledge of double crochet and chain stitch
-
-
1
Pick your yarn. I usually use 2 skeins as a base color and then 1 skein in a contrasting color. You will use all 3 skeins of fun fur together. Your scarf will be done when you run out of yarn.
-
2
Grab the beginning of all 3 skeins. Pull the ends together. You
will work with all 3 strands as if they were one strand of yarn. -
3
Make the base row by making 7 chain stitches.
-
4
For the first row, skip the first 2 chains. Make 5 double crochets,
one in each of the 5 chain stitches left. -
5
Chain 2 and turn the scarf over.
-
6
For each subsequent row: Do one double crochet in each stitch (should
be a total of 5), chain 2, turn. -
7
Repeat until you only have about 6-12 inches of yarn left (there
maybe some difference in each skein, but it shouldn't be much). -
8
Tie off and weave in the ends.

Tips & Warnings
