Things You'll Need:
- flower pot
- wood flowers
- paint
- fake moss
- styrofoam
- painters tape
- craft glue
-
Step 1
First I bought some cheep pots from the craft store. Then I found wood ready to paint flowers on a stick. Pick out the colors that match your room. I used the same acrylic paint I used to paint the letters of her name I hung. All products were purchased at Michaels for under $10.
-
Step 2
First I tape the top with blue painters tape and painted the bottom with 2-3 coats depending on the color. Then after they have completely dried remove tape and tape around the bottom and paint the top in a different color.
-
Step 3
Paint the top of your flower whatever color you would like then when it fully dry put a little painters tape over flower and paint stem green.
-
Step 4
Put styrofoam in pot tightly. Put flower in foam with a little glue so it stays put. Glue moss to top of foam.
-
Step 5
Now all you have to do is find a place your baby will not reach and display them. Be careful because if it is a place that can be bumped into you may want to glue them down.
