You should learn more about Martin Luther King. There is plenty out there that is not common knowledge and many things that he did which go under the radar. Try to learn new things about him and learn the well-known facts while you are doing it.

Go to a Martin Luther King service. Usually you can find these at your local college, church, or community get together. All you have to do is look around a little bit and you should be able to find a service.

Step 3
Learn more about the civil rights movement. There are plenty of good movies and books about the civil rights movement. Do some research and find one that interests you. Or if you want, read a documentary about Martin Luther King's life to learn more about what he did.
