This guide will show you all the steps you need to follow to deleting your browsing history in Internet Explorer.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

In your browser, dependin on your version, you need to find the tools tab. It will either be at the top near 'file' or be in the top right corner directly underneath the 'X' that closes IE. In Tools, scroll down to internet options. This is where you can change all of your browser settings.

  2. Step 2

In internet options, there should be a section labeled 'browsing history.' If you look directly below that, there will be a delete button. By clicking this button, you are removing your browsing history.

  3. Step 3

When the box pops up, make sure you check the little box that says 'delete all offline content.' This will remove any cookies that have been saved to your computer by some websites that choose to do this. Some questionable websites will save cookies to your computer or save their actual page for faster loading later.
