How to Print an Envelope With Microsoft Word
Sending a letter can be a simple process if you are handwriting all of the required information on the envelope. However, if you have bad handwriting or if you want to assume a higher level of professionalism with your mailing, set up and print the envelope in Microsoft Word 2010.

Insert your envelope into the paper tray of your printer. Adjust the paper tray to fit the envelope according to your individual printer's requirements, if necessary.

Launch Microsoft Word.

Click the "Mailings" tab at the top of the window, then click "Envelopes" in the Create group of the ribbon.

Click the "Options" button, then click the drop-down menu under Envelope Size to select the type of envelope onto which you will be printing.

Click the "Printing Options" tab at the top of the window, then click the option that corresponds to how you are feeding the envelope into the printer.

Click "OK."

Type the delivery address of your recipient into the Delivery Address field.

Type your return address into the Return Address field.

Tips & Warnings
Set up a default return address for any future envelope printing by clicking "File | Options | Advanced." Scroll to the General section, then type your return address into the Mailing Address field. Click "OK" to save your changes.
