Instructions

    • 1

Cut out a fabric teardrop shape from your fabric. Check the size by holding it up to your hair. Place it on your fusible web and cut out the shape.

    • 2

Follow the fusible web instructions to adhere the two together.

    • 3

Arrange your feathers on the fabric, dark side up. Carefully add a dollop of hot glue to the stems of the feathers and press them gently onto the fabric.

    • 4

Continue gluing feathers in the pattern you want. Start with larger feathers, then layer will shorter and smaller feathers until your design is finished.

    • 5

To adhere your feathers to the headband, add a long line of hot glue directly to the headband. Then, press your feather piece directly on the headband, holding it while it dries. Let dry completely before trying it on.

Tips & Warnings

  • Hot glue guns can be extremely hot -- choose a low-heat glue gun from the craft store to save your fingers from burns.
