How to Make a Facebook Page for your Church

Is our church or organization struggling to find ways to interact with your constituents? Does your church need a way to advertise events? Try Facebook! Just follow these easy steps to making a website for your church.

      To make a Facebook page, sign up as you would for an individual. Someone has to be the administrator for the church. Sign up as an organization. You have to include name and password. Sign up under the name of the church with you as the administrator.

      State the hours the church office is open under basic info. Upload a picture of the church for the profile page. There is also a space to upload video from an event. Our church put the children's Christmas Sing on the site.

      Send out an informal invitation to all members of the church to tell them about your Facebook page for the church. Invite all members and friends to become Fans of the Church. Past members, friends, college students, former pastors are all part of the possible

      Send all the Church's Fans notices of upcoming events, cancellations for ice and snow or info that is pertinent to the members. One can even set up an advertisement on Facebook!
