      Sample different gluten free pastas to see which ones you prefer. There really is a lot of difference from one type of grain to another. Typically, gluten free pasta is made with grains such as brown rice or spelt flour or a blend of gluten-free flours. Brown rice spaghetti and other pastas has a light taste and texture very similar to wheat. Spelt pasta has a strong taste that may overwhelm some dishes.

      Follow the package directions exactly in cooking the pasta when you make your gluten-free pasta recipes. Boil plenty of water, adding a dash of oil to keep the noodles from sticking to each other. Add the pasta and separate the noodles with a fork. Cook for the designated range of time until the noodles are fully cooked but still with some bite (al dente), and then quickly drain the pasta. Use immediately.
