  1. Step 1

    Cover up stretch marks with special body makeup. This is a great option if you have visible stretch mark scars that are hard to cover with clothing.

  2. Step 2

    Use appropriate clothes to cover up your stretch marks. If you have stretch marks on your back or stomach, try wearing a longer camisole or tank top under your shirts.

  3. Step 3

    Time heals all wounds! After time, your stretch marks will fade, it sometimes takes years, but the size and color should diminish.

  4. Step 4

    Help by treating them with topical creams. You can make your own cream at home. One of the best home treatments for stretch marks is a mix of 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup Aloe Vera gel, 5 vitamin E gel capsules, 3 Vitamin A capsules - Mix well and apply. Store in your refrigerator for best results.

  5. Step 5

    Avoid having more stretch marks to cover up by decreasing your caffeine intake and increasing the amount of water you drink. Eat foods that benefit your skin. Foods high in vitamin A,C,D, and also zinc and protein rich foods.

  6. Step 6

    Talk with a dermatologist if you would like to try something more aggressive such as chemical peels or laser treatments.

    Above all, while you may be in a hurry to cover up your stretch marks, also realize that no ones body is flawless! Most people do have stretch marks and you shouldn't be ashamed of them. Life is a journey, sometimes we get marked up along the way.
