Making your veggie party tray platter can save you more money than buying one from the produce or deli departments. Buy making your own, you can add more veggies to the tray.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Celery
  • Cauliflower
  • Broccoli bunches or tops
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Baby Carrots
  • Cucumbers
  • Large Platter or Plate
  • Knife and Cutting Board
  • Ranch Dressing or Dips
  1. Step 1

Purchase enough of the vegetables listed for creating your party tray. Rinse and drain the veggie before cutting. This will allow the water to drain from the cauliflower and broccoli so you don't have water standing on your serving dish.

  2. Step 2

Cut the large cauliflower and broccoli stems away from the florets. Cut the florets into bite size pieces and place them in a v-shape onto the serving tray. Slice the cucumbers into slices and set aside.

  3. Step 3

Place the carrots, tomatoes, and cucumbers around the rest of the tray. Try to place the cucumbers away from the broccoli so the two greens are not setting next to each other.

  4. Step 4

Cover the veggie tray into the refrigerator until ready to serve. This will keep them cold and fresh until you're ready to serve.

Tips & Warnings
  • Using dips that are already made from the refrigerator section of your grocery store will save you time and a mess making them. The dips can be placed into bowls to serve from by using a spoon.
  • It is always best to rinse the veggies before cutting and serving them to your guests.
