How to Access Facebook Mobile From Your Cell

You can use Facebook Mobile to send text messages to your phone, receive notifications for friend requests, messages, wall posts, and other updates from your Facebook friends. You can also update your status, search for phone numbers, or upload photos and videos from your phone. Here's how to set it up.

• Cell Phone

1. Log into your facebook account (or setup a free account if you don't have one). Once you're logged in, from the home page, click on settings.

2. From the settings menu, click on the "Mobile" tab. Enter your mobile phone number, your Carrier, and click on "Activate." Your activation code will be immediately sent to your cell phone.

3. You will receive a text message from Facebook. The message will show, "Facebook Mobile Confirmation" along with your confirmation code. Enter that confirmation code and here's what you will see: "Confirmed! Facebook Mobile is now activated. Text FBOOK (32665) to update your status. You can also receive texts when people poke, message, wall post, or friend you. The Facebook Mobile application has also been added to your Facebook profile."

4. You'll get one more confirmation text showing where to text your Facebook status. Text your status to 32665. Check your FB account and within seconds your message appears on your FB page as a comment, for example: "Jane Doe" Test to fb. 2 minutes ago - Comment ... That's it, you're done!
