How to Improve signal strength for Verizon Customers

Are you just not getting great signal strength? Are you a Verizon Customer?

Things You'll Need

• Your Verizon Cell Phone

Instructions

1. Make sure that your phone is on. Dial *228 from handset and wait for automated voice.

2. Wait for phone to ring. There will be an automated voice that will read off 3 different options. 1. for programming newly activated devices. 2. updating roaming capabilities. 3. Switching to a different phone on an already exisitng number. You will select option 2

3. Once opiton 2 is selected there will be music that will last about a minute. (Elevator music on steroids. Or so its been called.)

4. Option 2 will update your raoming capabilities. In other words it will re-program the phone to the latest updated network changes and improvements in whatever area you are in.

5. Once phone is done programming it will give 2-3 confirmation beeps and then turn off and turn back on. After that it is ready to go.
