Things You'll Need

  • Round nose pliers
  • Flat nose pliers
  • Bent nose pliers
  • Flush cutters
  • Working surface
  • Sterling silver chain with at least 5mm round or oval links, such as a curb chain
  • 10 Sterling silver head pins 2-3"
  • 10 Beads 10mm-15mm
  • 10 spacer beads
  • Lobster claw clasp
  • Safety goggles

      Pick the beads you'd like to use. Pick two different styles to alternate and provide contrast. Choose five or six of each, depending on how long you want the bracelet to be.

      With the flush cutters, cut your sterling silver chain to 8 1/4" to make standard sized sterling silver bracelets. Depending on wrist size, from 1/2" to 1" will become the dangle.

      Place each bead on a head pin, and top it with a spacer bead. With your round nose pliers and flat nose pliers, create a perfect loop, but don't close it. You should have enough wire left on the head pin to wrap around itself a couple of times.
