Babies are priceless - but formula, diapers, baby food and all of the other necessities can be expensive. Fortunately there places online where you can find coupons, samples, free baby stuff and more.
Check with the manufacturers of baby products, as many offer free samples or coupons for their products simply because they want you to try them, like them and keep buying them. Many have websites where you can register online to be included in their email and snail mail lists where they will send you offers and information on an ongoing basis.
If you find a company who does not currently have a baby club to sign up for or they are not advertising any free offers, remember it never hurts to ask. Just simply email the consumer department and ask if they can send you free samples or coupons for their products.
Many companies offer additional discounts and free items for twins or multiples, so be sure to check if there is a specific sign up for these offers if you qualify.
Do a basic search online. For example, you can search for "free baby products", "free baby samples" etc.
Decide what types of free products you want to receive. Some common offers available include free baby related magazine subscriptions, free birthday portraits for your child, samples and discounts from diaper companies and more. You can then do a specific online search for the types of products you are looking for. For example you can search for "free baby diapers", "free baby formula samples", etc.
Check online for websites such as parenting related networking groups, baby topic discussion forums and blogs, etc. These can be great sources for information on where to find free baby stuff, samples and coupons.
Look at online classified ads for your local area. Frequently you can find people giving away free baby stuff such as clothing, toys, baby furniture, strollers, and more.
Check stores where you can register online for baby shower gift items. Many times stores will offer free registration gifts just for signing up.
If you have a low income, you may be able to qualify for free baby items and discounts from public agencies and assistance programs. You can often find and sign up for these programs online. For example, WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is a supplemental nutrition program for low income women, infants, & children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk. The program provides nutritious foods, baby formula, supplements, information on healthy eating and referrals to health care sources. This program is offered through the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), a Federal agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
You can find other resources that are available in your area by looking at online directories for public assistance programs, charitable organizations, etc.
