If this doesn’t work, then there is probably internal problem with the monitor and it needs to be replaced.

2. If your laptop computers screen is physically broken, then you have to replace it. It is a matter of a set of screws and removing the ribbon cable to take the laptop computers screen out. You can find a replacement screen online through a number of different resources. Make sure that the ribbon cable is replaced properly and that all screws are put back in the correct locations.

3. If you are not comfortable working on your own laptop screen or are concerned that there is a bigger problem than just the screen, then you may want to have a professional look at it. You can either take it to a local electronics store or send it off to be replaced by the manufacturer.
