How to Enhance Your Career With Feng Shui
Feng Shui, which is pronounced "fung shway," translates literally from ancient Chinese. It means "wind and water." Wind, the earth's breath, and water, the lifeblood of all earthly living things, are the two elements that feng shui uses for filling your life with positive energies. Practicing feng shui means arranging the things around you in such a way that creates the best, most harmonious flow of vital life energy. By making practical changes both at home and in your workplace -- the two places you spend most of your time -- you can enhance your career.

Activate the north corners, known as the career corners in the important rooms of your home. This includes the your bedroom, home office, living room and dining room. Activate the corner by decorating with blue or black, adding a small picture of water (except in bedrooms, where this is prohibited) and metal objects.

Beautify the entrance of your home to attract new career opportunities. Remove anything unsightly and keep the area fresh, clean and uncluttered. Adding a black welcome mat invites water energy into your home. Keep a light turned on in the entrance to your home. Sparkly chandeliers work well here. Use the front door as you come and go, so positive energy flows freely into your home.
