Ergonomic office products are a huge part of the ergonomic computer workstation. The big things are obvious—chair, desk, computer, etc.—but what about the stapler and the telephone? They play a big role in the ergonomic computer workstation as well. The following steps will outline several ergonomic workstation products which will reduce the risk of injury in the office.

Namely, it can be positioned in any number of different places without the hassle of chords and cables which can become tangled around other equipment. It can be placed out of the way or moved to an accessible position with ease.

  2. Step 2

    Stapler. Ergonomic staplers are becoming an important aspect of the ergonomic computer workstation because traditional staplers can be difficult to use and require more strength which can cause injury. An ergo stapler requires much less force while retaining all of the functionality of a traditional stapler.

  3. Step 3

    Ergonomic pens and pencils are great for people who already struggle with a repetitive motion disorder such as arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome. These are designed to alleviate pain caused my misused muscle groups in the hands which can aggravate or even cause these types of disorders. For this reason, the ergonomic pens and pencils are a great addition to an ergonomic computer workstation.

  4. Step 4

    Ergonomic keyboards are incredibly beneficial as well. They position the hands in a way that reduces tension in the hands, wrists and all the way up the arm, reducing the risk of repetitive motion disorders. These, along with their counterpart the ergonomic mouse, make a great addition to the ergonomic computer workstation.
