Step 1
Register and create a selling account with Ebay.Be sure to choose you seller id wisely, as it will be associated with you and your history on Ebay. You also want customers to easily recall you name for future purchases.

Start sourcing for your products to sell. Inventory is available everywhere. Start checking the clearance shelves of you favorite stores. Closeout stores like Big Lots,Fred's etc. have new product arriving daily. Look for drugstore liquidation sales. Be sure to check back at least twice a week to restock your shelves once you have discovered a good supplier.

Step 3
Begin taking photos and listing your auctions. Aim to list at least 10 items a day as you add new inventory items and start selling. You will begin to develop a sense of what sells and which products are "duds".

Step 4
Develop a consistant schedule for checking your email to answer customers questions and concerns.Set time everyday to package and ship your products and source for new ones.
