Measure for the Perfect Bra
Measure for the Perfect Bra

Every woman, whether a small A-cup or a voluptuous DD, finding the perfect fitting bra is essential. If the bra is too large, there is little to no support or enhancement; if it is too small it is not only unattractive with the 'muffin top' effect but terribly uncomfortable. Believe it or not, an estimated 70 % of women are wearing the wrong bra size. Use these simple steps and make sure you are wearing the bra you are meant to wear!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bra
  • Cloth Measuring Tape
  1. Step 1

While wearing your everyday bra, measure around the body under the bust with a fabric measuring tape.

  2. Step 2

If the measurement is an even number, add 2 inches. If the measurement is an odd number, add 3 inches.
This will give you your frame (band) size.

  3. Step 3

Next, measure the fullest part of the breast. This is the bust line measurement.

  4. Step 4

Now compare the bust line measurement to the frame size.
The difference between the two will give you your cup size.
    1": A
    2": B
    3": C
    4": D
    5": DD

Tips & Warnings
  • If you typically wear padded bras, measure yourself without it to get a perfect fit.
