    Things You'll Need

    • An Internet connection
    • An account with Edicy
      • 1

Sign up for an account at Edicy (see link in Resources below). The free account will include hosting by edicy at a URL like myname.edicypages.com. When you sign up, choose an easy-to-remember name for your URL.

      • 2

For a fee, you can buy a domain and host your site on your own domain. This type of account is called a pro account and costs 4 Euros per month. (Edicy is physically located in Estonia, hence the Euros.)

      • 3

Edicy sends you a password when you open your account. After you sign in for the first time, you can change it to something you want.

      • 4

Start in Site Settings by choosing a name for your site and picking from the templates for a look you can work with. You can upload your own logo and add, edit and delete pages. You work with pages in a drag and drop interface that allows you to add pages and subpages and decide whether or not to include the pages in the menu.

      • 5

You can add images, search features, YouTube videos and a blog to your site. Edicy does not provide any email accounts or services with their sites.

      • 6

Edicy provides templates, but if you know what you're doing, you can customize the template to look however you want.

      • 7

After you've created your pages, publish your site. Each time you edit or change anything, you must republish.
