You may be a Mac fan, you also know Mac can run windows since Mac got intel chip inside. You may also know MacBook are sell number one in US, but PC do have lot of USER all over the world. If you were PC user, and think to use Mac. You also plan to buy a Mac for your next computer. You may need run PC in your Mac.
Anyway, you can run PC in you mac for free of charge.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mac or intel Mac
  • internet for download software
  • Windows, any windows as long as you legally own it.
  1. Step 1

What kinds of Mac you have? You need to know this first.
if you have Intel Mac, you have more option to install different software and try which one is easy for you.

  2. Step 2

If you have intel Mac, you can use boot Camp, which came with Leopard with no extra charge. It is easy to install, just fellow the manual, but you should have one disk Windows, which mean upgrade version window will not work. BTW, use this way to run windows will need to turn off Mac and re-boot in Windows. Your windows will have all power from the Mac hardware, but it also take longer to boot up windows. Almost 5 mins form my dual core Mac Book to boot up Windows VISTA.

  3. Step 3

You also can use software to mimic PC in you Mac OS. There are two major commercial package you can have.
VMware fusion, and parallel. Both of them has full function trail for you to download. you can use them for 30 days. After 30 days you need key in purchase SN to function normally, but if you don't mind to change you Mac's Date. The software will still run. Once the Windows turn on, you can change your mac to normal Date.

Both software are very easy to install, but if you have boot camp windows, both software will try to help you run boot camp windows in Mac OS. I will not suggest you use this way to run boot camp windows.

At least in my Mac book, it cause some problem, and not really help have boot camp windows run in Mac OS.

  4. Step 4

If you have old Mac, not came with Intel Chip. for example G4 ,G5,. You still have option to use free software to run windows.

Here is a good one you can try. " Qapp", It is a free ware to Run windows in Mac OS. You also can use this "Qapp" in intel Mac. Install are also easy, but it take much longer time to set up windows. I read some one took 12 hours to install Windows into a G4. I took 2 hours to install WinXP into my Mac Book.

  5. Step 5

All these soft ware you can use google to find the official link. Hope this information will help you get more from your Mac computer.

  6. Step 6

Your comment are more than welcome.
