Instructions

First you will want to wash, condition and then detangle your hair. Apply your leave in conditioners and moisturizers.

    • 2

You can either do corn rows or individual braids. If you opt for corn rows, you can make 6 to 10 braids, depending on how loose you want your braid out to fall. If you do individual braids, you can make as few or as many as you like. You can apply gel if you like a firmer set.

    • 3

After you have braided your entire head of hair you should then apply oil to the ends of your hair to seal the ends. If you prefer the more curly braid out, you can apply rods or rollers on the end of your braids.

    • 4

If you have time you can allow your hair to air dry. If not, sit under the dryer using a medium setting. It usually will take about 45 minutes to dry.

After your hair is completely dry, remove the rollers (if necessary), and take the braids down. Style your hair as desired. Your braid out will last up to a week if properly maintained.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can re-braid the ends of your hair at night to maintain the style.

  • Using a bonnet will keep your hair from going flat.

  • Be careful not to braid your hair too tight.
