  • Box of crispy rice cereal
  • 1 bag of marshmallows
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • Large sauce pan
  • 9-by-13 baking dish

Instructions

    • 1

      Melt one stick of butter and the bag of marshmallows in a sauce pan until it is a soft soupy mixture. During the melting process, constantly stir the mixture to avoid burning the marshmallows.

      Add the rice cereal once the mixture is completely melted. Stir well until all of the pieces of cereal are covered with the marshmallow mix.

      Add the chocolate chips and mix well until all the chocolate pieces have melted and have covered the cereal.

      Place the completed mixture in the baking dish and press it into the shape of the dish. Let it cool to room temperature.

      Cut the treats into squares after the mixture is cooled.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also cut the treats into different animal shapes.

  • Keep all cooking handles away from edge of stove to avoid children from getting burned.
