Step 1
Think about your design. Do you have something in mind already for your new color business card? Are there specific colors you want to use? How many colors do your want--this could be one, two, four or more. Do you need to add a logo or some other type of picture or graphic? What type of font do you want? How many magnetic business cards do you need? You will need to be able to answer all of these and other relevant details regarding your business card. It helps the design process if you make a rough drawing of your design.

Choose a place to design your color business card magnet. Several websites specialize in the creation of business cards (see Resources). Go to each page and compare the selections they have. The style you want and price you are willing to pay are key factors. Some have more options with color and some have a larger selection of card sizes. Make notes of each site and choose one to use.

Fill in the basic details of your magnetic color business card. It will vary slightly based on the website, but the essential procedure is the same. You will have to make some decisions concerning the design of your card. This will include the size of it and how many colors to use. If you would like to use a photo, you may want to use four-color or full color for the best results. Choose how many cards you need. Select a template, if they offer one you like.

Put the finishing touches on your design. Add pictures or have a design created by the website. You will be able to upload your graphic or choose an image from the website. Fill in all of the details concerning your business like name, street address, phone numbers, website address and so on. You can normally alter the text appearance by changing the font and color of it. If you have the option to move the items around the card, do so until you like what you see. Make any other edits or adjustments to the business card. You should be able to view the card as you make the changes to it. Double-check all spelling and information on the magnetic card.

Place your order. Once you approve your business cards appearance, you will have to supply payment and shipping information. Follow the directions provided from the website. Make payment for the cards to complete the order.
