2. Learn how to sew. If you can make your own alterations and even sew your own clothes, you will not only save money, but you will also achieve a unique style that is all you. Check with a local craft or fabric store to see if they offer classes.

3. Try shopping at thrift stores for more variety. Often they have a large selection of plus size dresses and women's business suits. With your sewing skills, you can make adjustments so the clothes fit you well.

4. If you have cross dressing friends with similar measurements, combine your clothing resources so you can both double your wardrobes.

5. Don't forget that the little things like make-up, jewelry, hair, nails, and shoes can add feminine touches where your outfit may be lacking. Try not to go overboard on accessories. As long as you wear your clothes with flair and confidence, the price tag won't matter so much.
