How to make Strawberry Leaves Tea

The consumption of Brewed Strawberry Leaves during Pregnancy is vital for both Mom and baby especial during the third trimester of pregnancy. Strawberry Leaves and its benefits are similar to its cousin Red Raspberry leaves. Strawberry contains array of vitamins and minerals to support pregnancy child birth, after child birth and breastfeeding such as Vitamins A and C and minerals like Potassium, Calcium and Iron. Strawberry ease stomach pains, urinary tract problems morning sickness and nausea, diarrhea and promotes health milk flow for nursing babies and increase milk flow when babies hit their critical growth spurts. Strawberry Leaves also heals Eczema and other skin conditions.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a kettle
  • 1-2 teaspoon of Organic Strawberry leaves
  • 1 cup of hot or warm water
  • 1 tea cup, mug, thermos, or tea tumbler
  • spoon
  • muslin bag or paper tea bag (if you don't have or want to use a tea strainer, tea infuser, tea ball, tea filter or tea tray.)
  • Organic Stevia leaves, Organic honey, Organic sugar, or Splenda. (Optional)
  • Kettle stand
  • Tea infuser or tea ball (optional but beneficial for clean up) or Tea strainer, Tea tray, or Filter (Optional but beneficial for separating tea from leaves and for clean up)
  • Saucer or Trash can
  1. Step 1

    Place clean kettle on Cook top or Stove Top.

  2. Step 2

    Place 1 cup of Hot filtered water or Warm Filtered Water inside kettle.(Hot and warm water boils quicker than cold water. But if you just want cold water, place cold filter water instead inside the kettle instead.)

  3. Step 3

    Turn or Cook top or Stovetop on High Heat or Medium High Heat. (Which ever you prefer or if you like Medium put Cook top or Stove top on Medium.

  4. Step 4

    Let water in kettle come to a boil.

  5. Step 5

    Once water achieve a boil, remove from heat then place a Tea infuser or Tea ball of 1-2 teaspoon of Organic Strawberry leaves inside the kettle. (If you don't have infuser or ball, simply place leave inside the kettle or in muslin bag or paper tea bag.) Turn stove or cook top off. If place loose leaves of Strawberry inside kettle, simply stir it and let set for 10 minutes. Place kettle on cook top, stove top, counter top which can't be damaged by hot items resting on it, or a kettle stand. Mug option below

  6. Step 6

    If you don't want to place Strawberry Leaves inside the kettle, and prefer to place leaves inside your tea cup, mug, thermos, or tea tumbler, place Strawberry leaves inside a muslin bag, paper tea bag, tea filter, tea strainer or tea tray first. Then proceed to tea cup, mug, thermos or tea tumbler. Pour brewed Strawberry Tea in desired beverage container.

  7. Step 7

    Let set for 10 - 20 minutes after set time is up, remove muslin or paper tea bag, tea strainer, tea filter or tray our of desired beverage container.

  8. Step 8

    Place tea strainer or etc. on a empty saucer or through in a trash then place in the sink or dishwasher rack.

  9. Step 9

    Place a desired amount of Organic stevia leaves ( a natural plant sweetener), Organic Honey, Organic Molasses, Organic Sugar or Splenda in your brewed Strawberry Tea.

Tips & Warnings
  • Strawberry Leaves Contain A high amount of tannins and to some people tannins can cause Diarrhea.Use the herb with care and contact a Practitioner or OBGYN before using this herb. If Allergic to Strawberries than avoid drinking Brewed Strawberry leaf tea; will cause bloating in some people. Don't consume the leaves or stems. Please purchase the leaves from a reliable merchant. Imported leaves have been contaminated with animal bowels and drugs.
