How to Make a Chocolate Malt

Malted milk powder adds a protein boost and that old-fashioned malt taste to a milkshake. This recipe makes one chocolate malt.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 c. milk
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 3 tbsp. chocolate syrups
  • blenders
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • drinking glasses
  • 3 tbsp. malted milk powders
  • Blenders
  • Drinking Glasses
  • 3 tbsp. malted milk powders
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 3 tbsp. chocolate syrups
  • 1 c. milk
  1. Step 1

    Place ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup, vanilla and malted milk powder in a blender.

  2. Step 2

    Cover and blend on High until the malt is smooth and of the desired thickness.

  3. Step 3

    Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Malted milk powder adds approximately 90 calories to a regular milkshake.
  • To make the malt more chocolatey, use chocolate ice cream.
  • To make malted chocolate milk, add 3 tbsp. malted milk powder to an 8 oz. glass of chocolate milk.

on 8/13/2007 OK, here you go. Get the ice cream you want and...put it in the microwave. Stay with me now. Put it on Low and thaw the ice cream for as long as you want or until there is about 1/2 ice cream and 1/2 melted ice cream in the bowl. Put it in blender and pr
