How to Easily Create a Circus Balloon Mouse

Children will love it when your create a circus balloon mouse for them. They will enjoy drawing a happy face on their new circus balloon mouse. Make lots of these balloon mice for birthday parties and school parties.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Long circus balloons
  • Black permanent marker
  1. Step 1
    Stretch circus balloons
    Stretch circus balloons

    Stretch the balloon several times to make it easier to inflate as you blow it up.

  2. Step 2
    Inflate circus balloon
    Inflate circus balloon

    Inflate the balloon up to about 2/3 of the way of the length of the balloon.

  3. Step 3
    Form head
    Form head

    Take a small portion of the inflated end of the balloon and twist to create the head. The end of the balloon where you tied the knot becomes the nose on the circus balloon mouse.

  4. Step 4
    Form ears
    Form ears

    Holding the head of the balloon mouse in one hand, take a little more of the inflated end of the balloon and twist two times to create the two ears for the circus balloon mouse.

  5. Step 5
    Twist ears
    Twist ears

    Twist these two ears a couple of times so that they will stay in place.

  6. Step 6
    Set ears on top of head
    Set ears on top of head

    Twist well to complete the circus balloon mouse. the long un-inflated portion of the circus balloon becomes the tail of the circus balloon mouse.

  7. Step 7

    This is how your circus balloon mouse should look so far.

  8. Step 8
    Draw on face
    Draw on face

    Take the permanent marker to draw the face and whiskers. Children will love drawing the different faces on the circus balloon mice.

  9. Step 9

    Now you have a cute little circus balloon mouse.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make lots of different colors for your children
  • Be sure to stretch the balloon so that it is easier to inflate
