If you have a broke down vehicle in your driveway that you want to get rid of or have ever wondered how to sell a non running car we will explore a few of the available options.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The Quick Fix: If your main goal is just to put a few bucks in your pocket and get this non running automobile out of the way, with the least amount of hassle then you can sell your car to the local junkyard.

Often you won’t get much cash for your car but they will come to you and tow the vehicle away all free of charge.

  2. Step 2

List it as a Dream: If the Quick fix doesn’t fit your need and you want to bring in more money for the sell of your non running vehicle, list it in your local online or newspaper classifieds as “A Mechanics Dream” or a “Father & Son Project.” Often times you will find someone willing to pay a decent amount even for a non running vehicle if it fills a need.

  3. Step 3

Part it Out: When selling a non running car, one means to making the most off of that sale is to part out your vehicle. List it as a parts car a long with all of the details i.e. make, model, and year. You might be amazed to find that there are many people out there with vehicles just like yours looking to have spare parts on hand.
