How to Entertain Thanksgiving Guests
Thanksgiving guests will need more than a great meal to stay entertained. When the conversation stops, how will you keep your guests talking and laughing? Set up a table with a deck of playing cards and at least two board games outside the dining room for after-dinner entertainment. Possible games include Charades, Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit. Any games involving teams work great. Card games are fun for children and adults (see Resources below for a list of card games and their rules).

Ask each guest to vote on a movie to watch either before or after dinner. Family movies are best to suit all tastes.

Place two index cards at each place setting on the dining table. Place pens and a set of markers in the center of the table.

Ask each guest to write what they're thankful for on one card and at least one favorite memory of a friend or family member in the room. Have them decorate the cards and place them on the table after dinner to view and discuss.

Bring out photo albums to share memories and liven up quiet guests.
