Drink a glass of water when you wake up and one half hour prior to meals. According to Bob Greene, Oprahs trainer, drinking a glass of water one half hour before meals will help you feel fuller and less likely to over eat.

Step 2
Eliminate all diet and regular sodas and drink water to lose weight instead. Artificially sweetened soda can increase your desire to eat. Regular soda contains alot of calories. If your soda contains 160 calories and you eliminated two per day, you would lose about a pound every 10 days doing nothing else.

Step 3
Dilute fruit juices with water to cut back on calories but still enjoy a flavorable tasty drink.

Step 4
