Blocking pop-up windows in Firefox is easy.

      Select "Tools" and "Options" from the toolbar.

      Click on the "Content" tab.

      Mark the box that says "Block pop-up windows." A check mark will appear to show this option has been enabled.

      Hit the "OK" tab at the bottom to close the Options window. Now you don't need to worry about ads and images popping up unless you authorize them.
