Instructions

    • 1

Preheat oven to 375 F. Spray inside of your baking dish with cooking spray, or coat with a light coating of olive oil. Don't forget to spray the sides, you don't want your German Pizza to stick and lose half the toppings.

    • 2

Spread pizza dough inside of pan, smoothing and spreading until it reaches the edges. Push into the sides so that you have an edge for the crust. A German Pizza is a fairly messy pizza to eat, so you want enough crust coming up the side to not only hold the ingredients in, but to hold on to while you eat your pizza, 3/4 inch should be sufficient.

    • 3

Mix mayonnaise and horseradish in small bowl and stir until mixed. If you like a little more spice, add more horseradish. If you don't want the heat, you can decrease the amount of horseradish. Don't eliminate it entirely, as it lends an important flavor to the German Pizza. Spread onto pizza dough to the edges, a little less of a layer than what you would use for a regular pizza.

    • 4

Drain all juice off sauerkraut, and add sauerkraut to pizza in an even layer. You want somewhat of a thick layer, as it cooks down. Chop corned beef coarsely, and sprinkle on top of sauerkraut. I prefer to use deli style corned beef as opposed to corned beef out of a can for my German Pizza, but either will work fine. Finish off with a healthy layer of mozzerella.

    • 5

Bake in preheated oven until edges of crust and cheese have a nice golden brown color, about a half hour. Remove from heat, and cut your German Pizza. This German Pizza recipe should give you 8 pieces. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

  • Cooking times may vary.

  • Use care when removing from hot oven.
