Many people are prone to getting chapped lips, especially in the winter time. A lot of the lip balms said to help with chapped lips don't remove the dry skin. A lip exfoliant is needed in order to remove the dead skin cells. This exfoliant will leave your lips soft, smooth, and very kissable.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 tsp. petroleum jelly
  • New toothbrush
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. olive oil
  1. Step 1

In a small cup or bowl, mix the petroleum jelly and olive oil together.

  2. Step 2

Mix in brown sugar and stir until it is mixed completely.

  3. Step 3

Using your toothbrush or your index finger, dab a small amount of the mixture onto your lips.

  4. Step 4

Rub the mix in small circles on your lips, being sure not to miss the very corners.

  5. Step 5

Wet a towel, then use it to remove the excess mixture from your lips. Apply a lip balm containing SPF.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use this mixture about once every two weeks and more in the winter when the air is very dry, causing chapped lips.
  • You may place your mixture in a small empty lip gloss tin to use when you're out and about.
