Instructions

    • 1

Cut the poinsettia plant into sprays. Each poinsettia spray should have multiple flowers if possible, and be 5 to 8 inches long. If you want the wreath to be leafy, then leave the silk leaves in place. If you want more of the fir to show through, then trim some or all of the leaves off the sprigs of flowers.

    • 2

Weave the poinsettia sprays into the fir wreath frame. The wired branches should hold the sprigs securely in place. If you are worried about the flowers staying where you want them to, then add a drop or two of hot glue to the back of the flower. Hold it in place for a few seconds to allow the glue to set.

    • 3

Hang the gold Christmas balls on the wreath. Use the ornament hangers to secure the balls in place. You can nestle them in among the branches or allow them to dangle off the wreath. Once you have the ornaments in place, bend the hangers so that they will not slide off the branches.

    • 4

Tie on the big red bow. You can place it at the top or the bottom of the wreath. Allow the tails to hang down and notch the ends for a more festive feel.

    • 5

Glue a loop of ribbon to the back of the wreath. Use plenty of glue since this loop will not be visible. This will make your wreath easy to hang and ensure that it lies flat against the display surface.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can decorate your wreath with candy canes and other types of Christmas decor for additional holiday accents.
