By creating gift certificates for your company, you are also making a low-cost marketing tool that can help to spread the word about your business. Because of its high visibility, it is important for your company’s gift certificate to look professional and reflect the image and brand of your business. Without employing expensive designers or printers, you can easily create a custom, professional gift certificate in Microsoft Word.

Tips & Warnings
  • When you print your gift certificates, use special award or certificate paper. These types of paper will be a little harder and thicker, and will give your certificates a more authentic quality.
  • Remember that these gift certificates are like currency. They provide either a free or discounted service from your business. Make sure that you have clear control over how much you print, and how many people receive them.
