1
Buy a large roll of bubble wrap. You can get rolls of bubble wrap from office-supply stores. Depending on your size, you should buy at least a 100-foot roll. It’s better to overestimate how much you’ll need because you don’t want to run out when your costume is halfway constructed.
-
2
Cut a two-foot section of the bubble wrap and set aside. This will be your cape.
-
-
3
Wrap your left leg from ankle to the top of your thigh in bubble wrap. Cover the leg at least three times. Secure the bubble wrap with clear packing tape.
-
4
Wrap your right leg the same way and secure the bubble wrap with clear packing tape.
-
5
Wrap your waist, stomach and chest with bubble wrap. Secure it with clear packing tape.
-
6
Cut a slit in the wrap near your zipper--you’ll want to be able to unzip your pants to use the restroom. Once this costume is on, it can’t come off until the night is over without damaging it.
-
7
Attach the “cape” to your back with a piece of clear packing tape.
-
8
Wrap each arm individually in bubble wrap. Again, wrap at least three times around each arm and secure with clear packing tape.
