How to Play "The Legend of Zelda 2" for Free Online

"The Legend of Zelda 2: The Adventures of Link" is the second game in the famous Zelda series. If you are a Zelda fan it is a must play simply because it is not like any other Zelda game before or since. Although it was originally ported for the Nintendo Entertainment System, you can still play it even if you no longer have a NES. All you need is a fast Internet connection and a Flash plug in for your browser, and you can take up the Master Sword and wake the Princess Zelda from her bewitched sleep.

1. Go to official site of "The Legend of Zelda 2: The Adventures of Link" (see Resources below).

   Click inside the game window with your mouse to start the game.

3. Press "Enter" to start the game.

   Register your name. Press "Enter" to go to the name page. Use the Arrow keys to move the cursor from letter to letter. Press "X" to select a letter. Press "Z" to skip ahead one space. When you are finished press "Control" to move the cursor to "End." Press "Enter."

   Press "Enter" again to play the game. The controls are as follows: "Enter" = Start button"Control" = Select button"X" = Jump"Z" = Sword"Arrow" keys = movement; "Down" is crouch.

Tips & Warnings

• Unlike other Zelda games, you gain experience points in this game. After you have enough experience you can decide which ability you want to level up: magic, health or attack.
• To enter a battle, walk into an enemy and the screen will change to a side scroller and the battle will began.
• Be careful! If you fall into a pit, you die.
