Create a Photobucket account by creating a user name and password. To do this go to the website (see Resources), move your cursor to the top of the page and click "Join now." Follow the prompts on the following page for creating a new account, and when finished, use your username and password to log in.

Locate the photos on your computer that you would like to upload to photo bucket. Keeping images in the same folder on your computer’s hard drive will allow for easier access when going through the uploading process. If your photos are not yet in digital form, you will not be able to upload them via your computer. They will have to be scanned in order to be placed on your computer’s hard drive.

Click on the "Choose files" button in your Photobucket account’s home page. A new window will open and you will be able to choose a photo to upload to your new account. Click on the picture and the websites built-in uploader will send your photo up to your Photobucket account.

Choose a title, tag and description for your uploaded photo. Once uploaded, Photobucket will prompt you to input this information and you can either leave it blank or apply your labels. Once finished, click "Save" and continue. This will bring you to your account’s home screen, where you can view the newly uploaded photo.

Continue the process with any other photos that you would like to upload to your Photobucket account.

You will need to write down your password and keep it in a safe place or you will not be able to log into your Photobucket account.
