      Use an avocado for tired and puffy eyes. Peel an avocado. Slice the flesh into small pieces and toss the pit. Mash the avocado. Clean your face. Rub it in a circular motion under each eye. Lay down for 20 minutes. Wash face with warm water.

      Make an easy face mask. Mash half of the avocado flesh. Spread evenly onto a clean face. Leave avocado for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

      Create a body mask and use 1 or more mashed avocados. Basically, it's just like applying a face mask. Take a shower and thoroughly cleanse your body. Spread evenly onto the body. Leave avocado for 20 minutes. Take a shower to rinse off avocado.

      Get silky, shiny, and soft hair. Have a small bowl. Mash 1/2 to 1 avocado flesh, depending on hair length. Mix 1 egg yolk and 1/2 tsp. of olive oil. Evenly distribute into hair and leave in for 30 minutes or longer. Thoroughly rinse hair out. This may require multiple rinsing.

      Moisturize your face. You can leave the oil overnight, rinse after 20 minutes, or use as a primer before applying foundation. Clean your face. Take the peel of the avocado and stroke the inside of the peel in an upward motion.

  • Store unused avocado in the fridge. Sliced and exposed avocado can be stored for up to 2 days.

  • The sooner you use an exposed avocado, the better. Oxidation occurs in avocados, just like other fruits and vegetables. Though fine at first, this can signal the onset of spoilage.

  • Especially if you have skin allergies, talk to your doctor before beginning a new skin regimen.

  • If you are experiencing redness or irritation, immediately stop use.
